QUESTIONS LOCAL CONTRACTORS ASK

Federal subcontracting FAQs.

Useful answers before you introduce your business to Prime Solvers.

Do I need federal contracting experience?

No. Relevant trade experience and a realistic service territory matter. Tell us if your company has federal past performance, but it is not required simply to introduce your business.

Do I need to cover the entire United States?

No. Many service requirements are local. A city, county, state or defined regional footprint is sufficient for an introduction.

Does this guarantee subcontracting work?

No. Any future discussions depend on specific requirements, qualifications, availability and commercial terms. Submitting an introduction creates no commitment by either party.

Do I need a UEI or SAM.gov registration?

You may provide a UEI if you have one. Whether particular registrations or qualifications are required will depend on the federal contract and proposed subcontract arrangement.
